REVISED PILOT SCHEME FOR BOATS TARGETING MONKFISH.The current Pilot Monkfish Scheme will expire on 29 February 2012. A revised scheme will be put in place on 1 March 2012. The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine invites applications from the owners of Irish registered fishing boats who are interested in participating in a revised pilot scheme for boats targeting monkfish. Closing date for receipt of applications is Monday 6th February 2012.
