Directions:
From Ballymahon: Go through Tang, Glasson & Ballykeeran, heading straight in to Athlone. You will go past Fern Hill (Garden Centre) on your right hand side. About 400 hundred yards up from Fern Hill on your left hand side you will see the coal bunker (just before the bypass bridge).
Directly opposite the coal bunker turn right. Continue down that road for 1/2 a mile and turn right again heading for Coosan Point. When you turn right heading up the hill Coosan church will be on your right hand side. Continue down that road for 1/2 a mile until you come to a national school on your right. Turn right before the school and Athlone RVL is the the first building on your right.
From the Dublin side : Heading into Athlone you will come to the N6 roundabout take the 3rd exit heading out the bypass heading for Galway. When you are on the bypass take the 3rd exit which is sign posted for "Coosan" and "Town Centre". At the end of the slip way turn right going under the bypass coming to a T Junction, turn right. After the SDS building on your right take the next left heading for Coosan Point. Turn left heading up the hill. Coosan church will be on your right hand side. Continue down that road for 1/2 a mile until you come to a national school on your right. Turn right before the school and Athlone RVL is the first building on your right.
